Spring 2024 FEMA CERT Training

Sponsored by the City of Lake Forest. – The classes are free.

Lake Forest is offering free Community Response Team (CERT) training classes again this year.  The next course starts on February 21, 2024.

The course consists of 8 classes delivered in 3-hour sessions on Wednesday evenings from February 21 through April 20 and includes:

  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Fire Safety
  • Medical Operations
  • Earthquakes
  • Light Search and Rescue
  • Disaster Psychology
  • Terrorism.   

The course concludes with a Saturday Disaster Exercise.
