We are lining up guest speakers that are among the top authorities in Orange County to speak on various landscape topics.
Few people understand how much we have changed in the way we manage our large trees these days and how much Scott Griffiths of Great Scott (and others) have taught us in the Landscape Committee that influences this.
The Landscape Committee has started a project to try to protect baby volunteer trees, especially those in areas where we need them.
The Serrano Park Landscape Committee is trying out a new method of posting maintenance issues to be corrected.
Our eucalyptus seedlings are doing fine thanks to the constant love from Euc Mom (Erentia Gillmer).
Two to three times a year the Landscape Committee (LC) of the Serrano Park Community Association (SPC) walks and reviews the Trees through-out the association’s entire 32 acres of green common areas.
We are in the process of developing a long-term plan and that plan needs a community vision as the goal.
The Landscape Committee needs volunteers willing to help on a number of projects but do not want to be involved in official meetings.
